MOSS GRAFFITI

In times like these where environmental issues are no longer taboo and the responsibility towards Mother Earth is no longer for the decisionmakers, each and everyone of us can have a voice. And even better, each and everyone of us can have an eco-friendly voice.

Grow Something Green shared a simple and easy recipe to grow your own moss on walls while writing letters, characters and all kind of crazy creatures. If you don’t like the toxines of spraycans nor paint or markers, and/or you have the patience of conceiving, then definitely try this mixture out:

  • 2 cups of moss (washed, clean of soil)
  • 2 cups of buttermilk or yogurt
  • 2 cups of water or beer
  • 1/2 tsp of sugar
  • corn syrup (optional)
  • and a blender / paintbrush / container

Make sure the moss is clean (no mud), mix it all together and apply it to your favourite surface. You might need to waterspray it now and then (depending on the temperatures rising : )
